The Army Recruiting Office (ARO) Mangaluru, in collaboration with the Vijayapura District Administration, is scheduled to host a major Agniveer recruitment rally at the B. R. Ambedkar Stadium in Vijayapura town from September 10 to September 22, 2026. The drive aims to recruit shortlisted candidates into various trades and categories within the Indian Army. Candidates who successfully cleared the Online Common Entrance Exam (CEE) held in June 2026 have been issued admit cards to appear for physical endurance and medical screening tests.
The rally covers candidates from 11 districts across Karnataka, including Vijayapura, Bagalkote, Dharwad, Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Davanagere, Gadag, Haveri, Chikkamagaluru, and Shivamogga, alongside permanent category candidates from Kerala. Official communications emphasized that selection is strictly merit-based, depending on performance in the online exam, physical tests, and medical fitness evaluations. District administration officials have advised all participating aspirants to beware of fraudulent touts and promises of illegal assistance, assuring that security and ground arrangements at the stadium are fully prepared for the two-week event.
