Belagavi Tech Meet 2026 Showcases Innovations in Artificial Intelligence, DeepTech, and Cybersecurity

Belagavi’s expanding technology ecosystem took centre stage at the fifth BeTCA Tech Meet 2026, held at the Belgaum Foundry Cluster under the theme 'Engineering the future: AI, DeepTech and security'. Organized by the Belagavi Technology Companies Association (BeTCA), the event brought together entrepreneurs, startup founders, software engineers, and technology leaders to discuss advancements in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, embedded systems, and defence technology. During the event, member companies of BeTCA unveiled eight new technology products and platforms. These solutions span a wide range of applications, including AI-driven healthcare platforms, aerospace and defence tools, intelligent CRM systems, product engineering applications, and business automation platforms. An exhibition held alongside the meet showcased cutting-edge innovations developed by local companies, demonstrating the growing technical capabilities of regional hubs outside Tier-1 cities. To further strengthen inter-regional collaboration, BeTCA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Goa Technology Companies Association (GTCA). The agreement aims to facilitate knowledge exchange, joint industry initiatives, networking opportunities, and commercial ecosystem growth between Karnataka and Goa. Keynote speakers and panellists highlighted the importance of translating innovative ideas into scalable commercial products while maintaining robust cybersecurity standards.
