Hindu Maha Ganapati Installation to be Held in Nelamangala on September 25; Poster Released

Preparations have begun in Nelamangala for the upcoming Hindu Maha Ganapati installation and grand Ganeshotsava celebrations scheduled to commence on September 25, 2026. The official poster and pamphlet for the festival were formally released at the Basavanna Devara Matha premises in Nelamangala town by Sri Siddalinga Swamiji, alongside local leaders and committee members. Speaking on the occasion, Sri Siddalinga Swamiji recalled that Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations played a historic role in uniting citizens during the freedom struggle, and today the Hindu Maha Ganapati platform serves to bring people together while enhancing cultural fervor. Organizers from the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal announced that the three-day celebration will feature diverse events, including state-level bodybuilding competitions, traditional wrestling (kusti) tournaments, and devotional-cultural performances drawing local residents and visitors across Bengaluru Rural district. BJP Nelamangala Taluk President Jagadish Choudhary, Hindu Maha Ganapati Committee President Dr. Ramesh, Vice President H.G. Raju, along with key committee members and women's wing representatives, attended the poster launch event. The committee urged all residents of Nelamangala taluk to participate actively and support the smooth conduct of the festive celebrations.
