Karnataka Resolves Over 52% Public Grievances Under 'Praja Seve', Set to Launch 'Namma Seve' App

The Karnataka government has reported significant progress under its citizen grievance drive, disposing of 13,872 (52.6%) out of 26,387 complaints logged through the Integrated Public Grievance Redressal System since launching the 'Praja Seve Abhiyan' on September 5, 2026. Encouraged by the initial disposal rate, the state administration is expanding the platform with the upcoming launch of the dedicated 'Namma Seve' mobile application. According to official performance metrics released by the state government, the Revenue Department logged the highest number of public grievances at 9,260 (35.1%), followed by the Urban Development Department (16.2%), the Housing Department (14.9%), and the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department (14.6%). Among Karnataka's districts, Kolar led in total grievance submissions with 3,738 applications, followed by Vijayanagar, Gadag, Bagalkote, and Tumakuru. The most frequent service requests submitted by residents involved old-age pension schemes, municipal housing site applications, and land record (RTC/Pahani) rectifications. With 12,514 complaints currently under active review, officials state that the forthcoming 'Namma Seve' app will enable citizens to lodge, monitor, and resolve administrative issues directly from their smartphones.
