Qualcomm Technologies has officially announced the selection of 15 pioneering startups for its AI Program for Innovators (QAIPI) 2026 – APAC, an initiative designed to foster cutting-edge artificial intelligence development across various sectors. These selected companies, hailing from Japan, Singapore, and South Korea, are poised to advance next-generation edge AI solutions, with a significant focus on transforming the agritech industry. The program aims to bring intelligence closer to the device, enabling real-time, power-efficient processing for a wide array of applications in farming and other fields. Through QAIPI, Qualcomm is providing crucial resources to these innovative startups. Participants will benefit from one-on-one mentorship with Qualcomm's subject matter experts, gaining invaluable insights and technical guidance. They will also receive access to advanced hardware development platforms, including Qualcomm Snapdragon® and Dragonwing™ products, essential for building robust AI-powered solutions. Financial assistance is another key component, with startups eligible for up to US$2,500 for product development, patent filing incentives up to US$5,000, and a grant of up to US$10,000 upon successful completion of the program.
