SK Group and NVIDIA Forge $500 Billion+ Partnership to Advance Global AI Infrastructure

SK Group and NVIDIA have solidified a monumental strategic partnership, committing over $500 billion towards significantly expanding global artificial intelligence infrastructure. Announced on July 25, 2026, this extensive collaboration encompasses the establishment of dedicated AI factories and the joint development of cutting-edge, next-generation memory technologies. A key component of this alliance involves SK Telecom, a part of SK Group, undertaking the construction of a 2-gigawatt NVIDIA Vera Rubin DSX AI Factory, specifically designed to cater to the escalating worldwide demand for high-performance computing necessary for AI workloads. This initiative is built upon a long-standing technological relationship between the two giants. The new AI factory will leverage NVIDIA's full-stack DSX AI factory architecture, integrating accelerated computing, systems, software, and partner technologies to ensure optimal energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness for AI operations.
