Apollo Hospitals Launches 'Always Open, Always Here' for Seven-Day Healthcare Access

Apollo Hospitals Group has introduced a pioneering initiative, 'Always Open, Always Here,' to significantly enhance access to healthcare services across India. This new program ensures that routine and planned medical care, which includes outpatient consultations, diagnostic tests, preventive health check-ups, follow-up appointments, and scheduled procedures, will now be available on all seven days of the week, including Sundays. Traditionally, many hospitals have reserved Sundays primarily for emergency and critical care services, leading to delays in non-urgent but important healthcare needs for many individuals. The 'Always Open, Always Here' initiative addresses a critical barrier to timely healthcare: lack of time due to busy work schedules and family commitments. According to Apollo's 'Health of the Nation 2026 Report,' millions of Indians are living with undiagnosed chronic conditions like hypertension and diabetes, often without visible symptoms, highlighting the inadequacy of a symptom-led healthcare model. By extending routine services to Sundays, Apollo aims to provide patients with an additional day to prioritize their health and seek care before minor concerns escalate into major health crises.
