CNH Partners with Bourgault to Expand Precision Seeding Technology Globally

CNH Industrial, a global leader in agricultural equipment, has entered into a major strategic commercial alliance with Saskatchewan-based Bourgault Industries to expand the deployment of advanced precision seeding technology across major farming markets. Under the agreement announced this week, Bourgault will manufacture co-branded Case IH and New Holland precision air drill systems, high-capacity air carts, and integrated digital controllers. These products will be distributed through CNH’s extensive international dealer network spanning North America, Australia, and other key agricultural regions. The collaboration supports CNH’s 'Path to 2030' strategy, which aims to transition the company from a traditional heavy machinery manufacturer into a technology-enabled agricultural solutions provider. By pairing Bourgault’s 50-year expertise in seeding implement engineering with CNH’s FieldOps digital management platform and financial services, the partnership seeks to enhance seed placement accuracy, optimize fertilizer usage, and minimize soil disturbance. The first co-branded machinery is scheduled for release under Model Year 2028, with ordering opening in early 2027. For farmers and the broader agricultural industry, the move highlights the growing importance of precision input placement to protect long-term soil health while managing escalating input costs.
