French AgTech Startup Tellia Secures €4.3 Million for Voice-Enabled Farm Data Assistant

Paris-based agricultural technology startup Tellia has secured €4.3 million (approximately $5 million) in a pre-seed funding round to expand its voice-enabled artificial intelligence platform. The investment round was led by venture firm Revent, with participation from Grey Silo Ventures, Jeriko, and Fund F. Tellia's technology addresses a long-standing challenge in precision agriculture: the friction of field data entry. While modern farming generates extensive data regarding soil condition, pest control, crop health, and equipment usage, frontline workers often struggle to input this information manually while working in demanding outdoor environments. Tellia's platform functions as an AI assistant that captures, structures, and interprets spoken language across multiple natural languages and dialects. By allowing farmers, agronomists, and field teams to log critical crop observations simply by speaking into their mobile devices, the startup eliminates the need for manual keyboard entry after long, tiring workdays in the field. The newly raised capital will be used to advance the company's agentic AI capabilities, expand integration across existing farm management software stacks, and scale technical and commercial operations across Europe and North America.
