MLA Hampanagouda Badarli Performs Bhoomi Pooja for ₹9 Crore Road Project in Sindhanur

Sindhanur MLA Hampanagouda Badarli laid the foundation stone for the ₹9 crore road asphaltation work connecting PWD Camp in Sindhanur town to Madasiravara village. The groundbreaking ceremony (bhoomi pooja) took place near the Joldarashi Anjaneya Temple on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, the MLA emphasized that the state government is prioritizing rural road connectivity to ensure smooth transport for local residents and farmers. The PWD Camp–Madasiravara stretch had remained severely damaged for a long period, causing immense inconvenience to commuters transporting agricultural produce and traveling to town. Responding to public demand, the Public Works Department (PWD) approved ₹9 crore for comprehensive road upgrading and blacktopping. MLA Badarli strictly directed PWD officials and contractors to ensure high quality in construction and complete the work promptly, leaving no room for public complaints regarding workmanship. Prominent local figures, including Sindhanur Urban Development Authority (SUDA) Chairman Babugouda Badarli, Town Block Congress President Kaji Malik Advocate, former Taluk Panchayat Vice President Nagappa Gomarsi, and PWD Assistant Executive Engineer Soogappa, were present at the event.
