Mulabagilu Taluk Administration Prepares for Kurudumale Sri Lakshmi Ganapati Brahmarathotsava on September 15

The Mulabagilu taluk administration held a comprehensive preparatory meeting for the upcoming Sri Lakshmi Ganapati Brahmarathotsava, scheduled to take place at the historic Kurudumale temple on September 15. Chaired by Mulabagilu MLA Samruddhi V. Manjunath, the meeting focused on coordinating civic, security, and transport arrangements to ensure a peaceful and well-organized festival for thousands of visiting devotees. Key officials including Tahsildar V. Geetha, Taluk Panchayat Executive Officer Babu, Rural CPI Satish, and PSI Arun Gowda Patil attended the meeting to review departmental responsibilities. To accommodate the expected influx of pilgrims, KSRTC will deploy additional buses from its depot, while designated parking facilities will be set up on the outskirts of Kurudumale village to avoid traffic bottlenecks. Local villagers will oversee the Pallakki Utsava, and MLA Manjunath announced that his family will personally sponsor the floral decorations for the deity and the ceremonial chariot. The annual Brahmarathotsava at Kurudumale is one of the most prominent devotional events in Kolar district, attracting devotees from across Karnataka and neighboring states. Local authorities urged all departments and residents to work in coordination to provide a smooth, safe, and memorable pilgrimage experience.
