NVIDIA and Palantir Partner to Launch Sovereign AI for Global Supply Chains

NVIDIA and Palantir Technologies have officially announced a strategic partnership to deploy a "Sovereign AI" software stack designed to transform global supply chain management, starting with NVIDIA’s own multi-million-part semiconductor manufacturing and logistics ecosystem. The newly unveiled framework combines NVIDIA’s open-weights Nemotron language models with Palantir's Foundry and Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP), structured on top of Palantir’s proprietary enterprise Ontology. According to technical details released by NVIDIA, the system creates a centralized digital intelligence command center that unifies raw material allocation, manufacturing capacity, and real-time operational data across complex multi-tier supply networks. During initial testing, NVIDIA post-trained a specialized 30-billion parameter Nemotron model on historical allocation decisions and human planner reasoning, achieving an 86.7% accuracy rate in predicting material constraints—outperforming larger general-purpose AI models. Human planners will remain in the loop to handle unpredictable external factors like extreme weather, geopolitical disruptions, and sudden supplier updates. The partnership addresses a longstanding challenge in enterprise technology: most industrial supply chains operate across deeply fragmented, legacy databases that struggle to react dynamically to shortages or bottlenecks. By validating the system in NVIDIA's high-stakes hardware manufacturing environment, both companies plan to offer the Sovereign AI architecture to external enterprise customers in defense, aerospace, automotive, and industrial manufacturing. The architecture allows organizations to run agentic AI models on-premises or in secure private clouds without transferring sensitive operational data off-site.
