Palantir and Fujitsu Renew Strategic Partnership to Advance Sovereign Enterprise AI Transformation

Data analytics and artificial intelligence platform provider Palantir Technologies Inc. and Japanese IT services leader Fujitsu Limited announced a major renewal and expansion of their strategic global partnership on September 10, 2026. Under the new agreement, Fujitsu has signed on to expand its deployment of Palantir AIP (Artificial Intelligence Platform) and Palantir Foundry software, stepping into the role of a Global Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) Partner. The expanded partnership directly addresses the surging demand among global enterprises and public institutions for 'sovereign AI' architectures—systems that ensure sensitive operational data, proprietary large language models, and automated workflows remain strictly controlled within regional regulatory boundaries. As part of the collaboration, Fujitsu will integrate its proprietary Takane large language model and domain-specific engineering expertise with Palantir’s platform tools. The two companies previously demonstrated the tangible impact of their combined tech stack by building a supply chain resilience system for a top Japanese manufacturer, integrating data across 18 factories and 3,000 suppliers to yield over $10 million in cost savings within a year. By expanding their forward-deployed engineering capacity, Palantir and Fujitsu aim to rapidly deploy tailored, production-grade AI applications across manufacturing, healthcare, aviation, and financial logistics worldwide.
