Sidilu Basaveshwara Swami Jatre Celebrated in Gubbi Town with Message of Harmony

A message of social harmony and cultural tradition echoed across Gubbi town in Tumakuru district as the annual Sidilu Basaveshwara Swami Jatre featured the traditional 'Parevu' religious ritual and gathering. Speaking at the event, Atavi Channabasava Swamiji of Thorematha emphasized that local fairs and religious celebrations should extend beyond mere festivity to actively preserve heritage, deepen spiritual faith, and build unity across diverse social groups. He noted that peace and lasting tranquility can take root in society when citizens adopt the core humanistic principles and philosophy of Basavadi Sharanas in their everyday lives.
