Three Indian Nationals Rescued and Repatriated from Kenya After Kidnapping Incident

Three Indian nationals from Punjab, who had been abducted shortly after arriving in Kenya, were safely rescued and repatriated back to India following a coordinated operation between Kenyan security forces and the High Commission of India in Nairobi. The victims had landed at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi on August 5 and were subsequently kidnapped and taken to a residential property in Kiambu County. Following intelligence-led investigations, Kenya's Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) tracked the victims and conducted a raid that successfully freed all three men unharmed. Security agencies arrested six suspects in connection with the human trafficking and extortion ring, including an Indian citizen, two Pakistani nationals, and two Kenyan locals. The Indian High Commission in Nairobi expressed sincere appreciation to Kenyan law enforcement for their swift and proactive response, ensuring the safe return of the kidnapped citizens to their families in Punjab.
