UK Parliamentary Panel Calls for Comprehensive AI Bill and Single Statutory Regulator

The UK Parliament’s Joint Committee on Human Rights (JCHR) published a major 100-page report on September 14, 2026, titled 'Human Rights and the Regulation of AI,' warning that existing legal frameworks are entirely unprepared to mitigate the severe risks posed by rapidly evolving artificial intelligence systems.
