Veteran Director Om Sai Prakash’s 106th Film 'Common Man' Launches Music Ahead of September 25 Release

The team behind the upcoming Kannada feature film 'Common Man' hosted a high-profile audio launch ceremony in Bengaluru, locking in its nationwide theatrical release date for September 25, 2026. Directed by veteran Sandalwood filmmaker Om Sai Prakash as his 106th directorial venture, the film features actor Gowrishankar SRG in the lead role alongside a prominent supporting cast. Written and produced by N. Narasimhamurthy under the Surabhi Films banner, 'Common Man' centers on a thought-provoking political premise: what happens when an ordinary, working-class citizen suddenly finds himself occupying the Chief Minister's office? The plot examines the protagonist's attempts to bring about systemic social changes and the entrenched bureaucratic and political resistance he faces upon stepping into power. The music album, composed by Vinay Chandra, features tracks sung by prominent vocalists including Kailash Kher, Chaitra Achar, and Baba Sehgal. The audio launch event was attended by notable industry figures and political leaders, including Karnataka Legislative Council Deputy Chairperson Umashree, along with actors Vinod Prabhakar, Ramesh Bhat, and Priyanka Upendra.
