₹6.73 Crore Urban Infrastructure Projects Launched in Humnabad Town

Humnabad town in Bidar district witnessed the launch of multiple urban infrastructure development projects valued at ₹6.73 crore on Tuesday. The foundation stones were jointly laid by Humnabad MLA Dr. Siddu Patil and MLC Dr. Chandrashekhar Patil during an official ground-breaking ceremony held near Basaveshwara Circle. The development package, funded through the Kalyana Karnataka Region Development Board (KKRDB) and municipal grants, aims to address long-pending civic infrastructure needs across the town. Under the sanctioned development plan, ₹4.5 crore will be utilized for major arterial road reconstruction projects. Key stretches earmarked for upgrades include the main road connecting Chhatrapati Shivaji Circle to Veerabhadreshwara Temple via Basaveshwara Circle, as well as the route extending from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Circle to Balaji Temple. Additionally, ₹2.25 crore has been allocated for constructing cement concrete (CC) roads and improved drainage networks across 16 municipal wards in Humnabad. The overall project also encompasses installing high-mast lights, streetlight fixtures along road dividers, and erecting a national flag mast. During the ceremony, a brief verbal exchange took place between MLA Dr. Siddu Patil and MLC Dr. Chandrashekhar Patil concerning event schedules and execution timelines. The MLC urged local representatives to ensure public programs commence on time to avoid inconvenience to residents. The completion of these infrastructure works is expected to ease traffic congestion, improve urban sanitation, and enhance connectivity for residents across Humnabad town.
