AIFF Unveils 13 International Friendly Football Matches for Indian National Teams

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has announced a comprehensive schedule featuring 13 international friendly matches for India's senior men's, senior women's, and youth teams between September 25 and October 11, 2026. This unprecedented series will take place across Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Goa, offering Indian football teams extensive competitive exposure against world-class international opponents during a single FIFA international match window. The headline fixtures feature the Blue Tigers, led by head coach Khalid Jamil, taking on 44th-ranked Panama at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru on September 25. Following the Bengaluru clash, the team will travel to Kolkata for marquee matches against global football powerhouses Brazil on October 3 and Uruguay on October 6. Additionally, the Indian senior women's team will host two friendly matches against the Russian women's national team in Kolkata on October 8 and 11. Youth development will also feature prominently, with the India U-15 squad playing six matches in Bengaluru against Iran and Uzbekistan. AIFF officials highlighted that securing fixtures against three teams that participated in the 2026 FIFA World Cup represents a major step forward for Indian football's growth and visibility on the global stage.
