Anker Unveils MindBase Local AI Smart Home Hub with 48TB Storage at IFA 2026

At the IFA 2026 technology show in Berlin, Anker announced its most ambitious smart home hardware to date with the launch of the Anker MindBase. The central smart home hub is designed to unify connected household devices under a single, local artificial intelligence brain, shifting processing away from cloud servers to enhance user privacy and speed. The MindBase hub is powered by an onboard TrueSmart Agent chip delivering 26 TOPS (Trillion Operations Per Second) of local compute performance. This allows the system to analyze up to 20 video camera feeds simultaneously, performing real-time facial recognition, object tracking, and automated event summaries locally inside the home. Furthermore, the hardware features 64GB of eMMC memory and two internal drive bays capable of hosting SATA hard drives to offer up to 48TB of expandable local storage. Functioning as a universal bridge, MindBase supports Matter 1.5, Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Home Assistant, alongside built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Thread, and Zigbee radios. The product forms part of Anker's broader strategy to consolidate its sub-brands—including Eufy, Soundcore, and SOLIX—under the unified Anker corporate identity.
