Lenovo Unveils 'Project Swan' Rollable Laptop Concept Expanding Display from 14 to 17 Inches at IFA 2026

Technology giant Lenovo has captured major attention at the IFA 2026 trade show in Berlin by unveiling 'Project Swan,' an innovative proof-of-concept laptop equipped with an expandable, rollable display. Unlike conventional laptops with fixed screen dimensions, Project Swan allows users to horizontally expand its display from a standard 14-inch workspace to a wider 17-inch 16:9 canvas with the simple press of a button. Designed for mobile professionals and multitaskers, the laptop maintains a sleek, portable form factor in its compact mode. Measuring roughly 17.9 millimeters in thickness and weighing approximately 1.6 kilograms, Project Swan avoids the heavy bulk and awkward hinges typical of early experimental dual-screen or foldable devices.
