Bheem Seene Demands Construction of Maski Taluk Panchayat Building at Designated Foundation Site

The Maski taluk unit of the Karnataka Bheem Seene has submitted a formal memorandum demanding that the construction of the new Taluk Panchayat office building be undertaken strictly at the site where the foundation stone was originally laid. The memorandum was addressed to the Chief Executive Officer of the Raichur Zilla Panchayat and handed over through the Maski Tahsildar and the local Taluk Panchayat Executive Officer. According to representatives of the organization, approximately three acres of land situated behind the Prajasoudha administrative complex on Venkatapura Road in Maski town were identified for establishing the Taluk Panchayat headquarters. On April 21, 2026, an official Bhoomi Pooja and foundation stone laying ceremony took place at this selected location. Furthermore, a budget of ₹5 crore was sanctioned by the government for constructing the administrative complex, with implementation responsibilities assigned to the designated public works agency. Addressing concerns regarding potential site relocation or procedural delays, members of the organization emphasized that building the office on Venkatapura Road provides central and convenient access for villagers traveling from across Maski taluk. For residents of this newly formed taluk, establishing permanent civic infrastructure in planned locations is vital for improving local governance and ensuring prompt delivery of public services.
