Google has announced significant new artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives across India, focusing on enhancing education and skill development in the rapidly evolving digital landscape. Furthermore, Google DeepMind has launched "ATL Saathi," a Gemini-powered desktop application specifically designed to assist teachers in delivering the Atal Tinkering Labs (ATL) curriculum. This innovative app provides teachers with a smart assistant to plan interactive lessons and curate hands-on AI experiments for students, making complex AI concepts more accessible and engaging. The ATL Saathi app is set to initially roll out in 100 schools this year, with an ambitious goal to expand its reach to 10,000 schools over time.
