MLA Dr. Siddu Patil Launches ₹3.28 Crore State Highway Upgrade in Chitgoppa Town

Humnabad constituency MLA Dr. Siddu Patil officially launched state highway improvement works worth ₹3.28 crore in Chitgoppa town of Bidar district on Tuesday. The project focuses on upgrading a crucial 800-metre stretch of the state highway that serves as the primary vehicular artery passing through the town, connecting local markets and neighbouring villages. Speaking at the foundation-laying event, Dr. Siddu Patil highlighted that this major road stretch had been severely damaged for several years, causing constant inconvenience to commuters, daily travellers, and shopkeepers. He noted that the state government is prioritizing civic infrastructure in Chitgoppa to ensure smoother transit and modern connectivity. The project will involve comprehensive road resurfacing and structural improvements to ensure long-term durability and safety. Members of the Legislative Council (MLC) Dr. Chandrashekhar Patil, alongside local leaders Asad Patel, Vinayak Manakoji, and Muzaffar Patel, were present at the launch. For the residents and traders of Chitgoppa taluk, the commencement of this long-pending road project promises substantial relief from traffic congestion, reduced vehicle maintenance costs, and safer conditions for daily travel towards Humnabad and Bidar.
