Smart Sleep Tech Startup Cradlewise Secures $12 Million Series A Led by 3one4 Capital

AI-first child health and wellness startup Cradlewise has raised $12 million in Series A funding led by Bengaluru-headquartered venture capital firm 3one4 Capital and Prudent Investment Management. The latest funding round brings the startup's total capital raised to approximately $26 million, following earlier backing from investors including Footwork VC, CRV, and Sean O'Sullivan Ventures. Founded in 2019 by Indian Institute of Science alumni Radhika Patil and Bharath Patil, Cradlewise manufactures AI-enabled smart cribs designed to monitor infant sleep and intervene before babies wake up completely. The integrated system combines a contactless monitor, sound machine, and adaptive motion mechanism. Using multi-sensor data tracking movement, audio, and sleep stages, the smart crib predicts stirring and gently bounces to soothe infants back to sleep. According to company reports, the technology has already logged over 75 million hours of sleep data. The startup plans to utilize the newly acquired capital to expand its product line beyond cribs into broader child-sleep technology, software-driven routines, and lower-priced offerings. Additionally, Cradlewise will focus on strengthening its offline retail footprint, building distribution partnerships, and accelerating its international market expansion across North America and beyond.
