Davanagere DUDC Invites ₹29 Lakh Tender for Road and Drain Works in Nyamathi Town

The Directorate of Municipal Administration, through the Davanagere District Urban Development Cell (DUDC), has invited open tenders for essential civic infrastructure improvements within the Nyamathi Town Panchayat limits. The proposed public works, estimated at a total value of ₹29.0 lakh, involve the construction of cement concrete (CC) roads and concrete drains utilizing unutilized savings from the Nagarothana 4th Phase scheme. According to the official notification issued on September 4, 2026 (Tender ID: DMA/2026-27/OW/WORK_INDENT62145), the civic initiative aims to upgrade road connectivity and rainwater drainage in key residential pockets across Nyamathi town. Contractors wishing to bid for the project must submit an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹54,850. The tender submission deadline has been set for September 19, 2026, at 3:30 PM. For residents of Nyamathi, the upcoming execution of these road and drain projects is expected to provide significant relief from seasonal waterlogging and improve daily commuting within the town panchayat boundaries. Local residents have long demanded well-built concrete drains to ensure better sanitation and hygienic conditions in residential layouts.
