BJP's 'Ballari Chalo' Padayatra Covers 20 Km Across Kampli Taluk on Day Seven

The Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) statewide 'Ballari Chalo' foot march reached Kampli taluk in Ballari district on its seventh day. Led by BJP Karnataka State President B.Y. Vijayendra alongside senior party leaders including B. Sriramulu, Tejasvi Surya, C.T. Ravi, and Pratap Simha, the rally commenced from the Ambedkar Circle in Kampli town and traversed through key local areas including Devasamudra Cross, Metri village, and Devalapura, covering a distance of nearly 20 kilometers within the taluk. During the foot march through Kampli, party leaders interacted directly with local residents and farmers in villages along the route. The padayatra was organized to protest against state administrative lapses, alleged irregularities in the Valmiki Development Corporation, and issues surrounding agricultural water allocation from the Tungabhadra reservoir affecting local farming communities. In Metri village, BJP leaders paused for lunch and engaged with local villagers regarding civic infrastructure and agricultural concerns before continuing the march toward Devalapura. The arrival of the padayatra in Kampli taluk saw participation from local party cadres and supporters who welcomed the procession across various villages. For residents of Kampli, the event brought heightened public attention to local agricultural water distribution challenges, rural road conditions, and broader governance issues affecting the taluk's farming economy.
