Karnataka Launches 'Seva One' Citizen Portal, Housing Site Scheme, and Mobility Apps

The Karnataka government on Thursday introduced a suite of citizen-centric public initiatives, highlighted by the official launch of the 'Seva One' digital services portal, designed as a unified "One Government, One Digital" platform to streamline access to state services for residents. Marking the administration's 100-day milestone, Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar launched the flagship digital portal alongside the Chief Minister Raitha Chaitanya agricultural advisory scheme and upgraded transport applications BMTC 2.0 and KSRTC Avatara 2.0. Under the Seva One platform, citizens can apply for various state certificates, track public applications, and submit grievances through a single interface, reducing administrative bottlenecks and physical visits to local government offices. Concurrently, the state officially approved a major housing initiative aimed at distributing five lakh residential sites to landless families, with a strong focus on rural beneficiaries lacking permanent housing. In addition, the launched BMTC 2.0 app provides real-time bus tracking and digital ticketing for urban commuters, while the One Karnataka Mobility App (KSRTC Avatara 2.0) integrates route bookings across all four state transport corporations. The agricultural Raitha Chaitanya mission, launched across five pilot districts including Mandya, Belagavi, and Shivamogga, delivers tailored technology-driven advisory services to farmers. These administrative announcements mark a major expansion of Karnataka's citizen service delivery architecture.
