Shivakumar had earlier expressed a clear preference for holding the Cabinet session within a state-run administrative facility, leading local authorities to select the recently inaugurated, spacious DC office complex at Padil as the primary venue. The meeting will be attended by the Chief Minister, Cabinet ministers, official advisors, the Finance Secretary, and key administrative secretaries.
Addressing reporters during the visit, Minister Khader stated that consultations will be held with local MLAs, coastal region representatives, and key civic stakeholders to compile a comprehensive document of development projects and infrastructure demands concerning Dakshina Kannada.
