Severe Server Down Issues at Lakshmeshwara Tehsildar Office Leave Public Stranded

Administrative services at the Lakshmeshwara Tehsildar office in Gadag district have come to a virtual standstill due to persistent server outage issues, causing severe hardship to the local populace. Hundreds of residents, including farmers, students, women, and elderly citizens from various remote villages across Lakshmeshwara taluk, visit the office daily to procure critical documents such as caste and income certificates, land records (RTC/Utara), and birth and death certificates. However, owing to recurring technical glitches and server downtime, citizens are forced to wait in long queues from morning until evening. Many applicants, who travel long distances after spending their day's wages or missing school and college classes, are forced to return home empty-handed without completing their administrative tasks. Frustrated by the repeated delays and lack of communication from officials, local residents and farmers expressed strong anger against the administration. They noted that despite government assurances of delivering civic services efficiently to citizens' doorsteps, the ground reality at the taluk office remains chaotic. The affected citizens have urged the Gadag district administration and revenue department authorities to intervene immediately, resolve the technical server defects, and ensure hassle-free public service delivery.
