Minister Kashappanavar Launches 'Praja Seva Aandolana' Public Grievance Drive in Guledagudda

In an effort to deliver government services directly to citizens' doorsteps and streamline public administration, Minister for Small Scale Industries and Bagalkote District In-charge Minister Vijayanand S. Kashappanavar launched the state government's ambitious 'Praja Seva Aandolana' at the Karanandi Kalyan Mantap in Guledagudda town on September 5, 2026. The initiative aims to resolve public grievances locally, preventing residents from making repeated visits to government offices for routine administrative work and scheme applications. During the inaugural day of the drive in Guledagudda, local residents submitted 253 petitions to officials across various government departments. Highlighting the pressing need for shelter in the region, 153 of these applications pertained directly to housing scheme demands, while others sought old-age pensions, ration cards, and basic civic infrastructure repairs. Bagalkote Deputy Commissioner Sangappa, Superintendent of Police Siddharth Goyal, and Badami MLA Bhimsen Chimmanakatti attended the event alongside senior taluk and district officers to review and resolve petitions on the spot. Minister Kashappanavar instructed officials to avoid delays in processing public applications and ensure government welfare schemes reach all eligible beneficiaries in Guledagudda taluk.
