Minister Sharan Prakash Patil Flags Off Statewide 'Prajaseva' Grievance Drive in Shorapur

State Medical Education and District In-charge Minister Dr. Sharan Prakash Patil officially flagged off Karnataka's newly introduced statewide 'Prajaseva' public grievance drive at Shorapur (Surapura) in Yadgir district. Formally launched as part of the State Government's initiative to bring administrative services directly to citizens' doorsteps, the program aims to address local public grievances efficiently and without bureaucratic delays. During the inaugural drive held in Shorapur, local residents from across the taluk and district submitted a total of 259 grievance applications pertaining to various government departments. Demonstrating swift administrative response, official teams resolved 19 petitions on the spot, providing immediate relief regarding civic amenities, pension delays, and revenue documentation issues. The remaining petitions have been forwarded to the concerned departments for mandatory field inspections and time-bound disposal. For the residents of Surapura taluk, the establishment of the Prajaseva mechanism provides a direct and accessible channel to present long-pending civic and administrative issues before district officials. Authorities have encouraged local citizens to utilize these periodic grievance camps to resolve matters related to infrastructure, public distribution, revenue services, and rural development.
