Chincholi Assembly Constituency MLA Dr. Avinash Jadhav inaugurated the Chincholi Taluk-Level Dasara Sports Meet 2026 at the Polakapalli stadium in Chincholi taluk, Kalaburagi district. The sports event was organized jointly by the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, Kalaburagi, and local administrative bodies, bringing together student athletes and sports enthusiasts from across various schools and villages in the taluk.
Addressing the gathering after opening the tournament, MLA Avinash Jadhav highlighted that establishing a well-equipped sports facility at Polakapalli has been a long-pending demand of the local youth. He promised that sincere efforts would be made to procure special grants through the Kalyana Karnataka Region Development Board (KKRDB) to comprehensively modernize the Polakapalli stadium with state-of-the-art infrastructure. He emphasized that active participation in sports instills discipline, physical fitness, self-confidence, and a healthy spirit of competition among rural youth. The event was attended by sports officials, local representatives, coaches, and school students from across Chincholi taluk.
