RVS Marathon 'Run for Healthy Navalgund' Organized; MLA Konaraddi Announces Grants for Youth Clubs

A major fitness and youth awareness event, the 'Run for Healthy Navalgund 2026' marathon, was held at the Model High School ground in Navalgund town. The program was organized by RVS International Public School, located in Khannur village of Navalgund taluk, to encourage physical health, fitness, road safety, and civic responsibility among local residents and youth. Hundreds of participants of various age groups from villages across Navalgund taluk participated in the 7-kilometer run. Inaugurating the event, Navalgund MLA N. H. Konaraddi highlighted the importance of promoting health awareness and active lifestyles in rural constituencies. Addressing the gathered participants, the legislator announced the formation of 46 Bharat Jodo Youth Clubs across the Navalgund Assembly constituency. He declared that each newly formed youth club would be sanctioned Rs 10 lakh in government funds to support youth empowerment, local sports infrastructure, and rural development activities. For residents of Navalgund taluk, the event provided both a community health initiative and substantial support for rural youth development.
