Rowdy-Sheeter Externed from Bidar District Following Illegal Activities in Bhalki

The Bidar police have officially externed a notorious rowdy-sheeter, Sanjeev Kumar, from the district to Koppal to maintain public peace and protect the health of residents in Bhalki taluk. Officials stated that Kumar, a resident of Janata Colony in Bhalki, was primarily involved in illegal matka gambling operations that targeted daily-wage labourers, farmers, and small-scale traders across various villages in the taluk. Beyond gambling, authorities linked him to the illegal sale of narcotic pills, which has raised significant concerns about the welfare of the local youth and students. According to police reports, Kumar had approximately four criminal cases registered against him, including charges of attempted murder and intimidation. Despite previous interventions, his persistent unlawful activities continued to undermine the law and order situation in the region. By externing him from the district, the administration aims to curb his influence and prevent further victimization of vulnerable residents. This action is part of a broader effort by the taluk and district administration to ensure a safer environment for the community and restore order in local markets and residential areas where his activities were prevalent.
